Sprint to become iPhone 5 carrier, begin selling iPhone 5 in mid-October

Apple in general launches a new iPhone model in June or July, but this year’s launch has been delayed for anonymous reasons. Apple watchers had expected the new phone to arrive in September, but speculation has recently shifted towards October.

Apple iPhone 5 release date rumors form a humongous file, and there is an obvious rumor exhaustion in the market. Apple’s flagship phone coming to Sprint Nextel Corp. — was received critically and the carrier’s stock rose more than 10 percent.

Sprint will be another sales channel for Apple’s popular Mobile. According to the sources from the company, Sprint Carrier will be selling the Apple iPhone 5 in October 2011. Sprint had more than 52 million subscribers at the closing stages of the second quarter, compared with 106 million for Verizon and nearly 99 million for AT&T.

According to Richard Doherty, director of the research firm Envisioneering Group, iPhone 5 would help Sprint retain many of its customers itching to upgrade, the Journal reported. “Sprint needs it… There are a lot of families that will embrace the iPhone.”

Landing the iPhone is an immense triumph for Sprint, whose fall outs have undergone without being able to sell the trend-setting device.
